Hi! My name is Arlene, and I am a fourth-year Sociology major with a Digital Humanities minor from Fountain Valley, CA. As the content developer for this project, I manage the site’s main narrative, bringing together text, data visualizations, and images to tell a compelling story. My focus is on creating seamless connections between different elements, ensuring that our research is both engaging and accessible.
Ashton Jin
Data Visualisation Specialist
Hi, my name is Ashton and I am a third-year Statistics and Data Science major from Minnesota. As the data visualization specialist, my responsibilities were to oversee the data visualizations, make sure data was in the correct format, and use and teach others how to use different data visualization tools(Tableau, different charts, graphs, etc). I prioritized making sure the visualizations were clean and easy to understand, as well as visually appealing.
